It is the extract from the seed of Silybum marianum (L) Gacntm]; light yellow powder or crystalline powder; odorless, tasteless, easily soluble in acetone, ethanol and alcohols; hard soluble in chloroform or water. Main chemical composition is silymarin(Silybin) C25H22O10 .
